Hardware Demands
================

Teardown is computationally expensive because every pixel is a simulated voxel physically interacting with the world.

Minimum Specifications
======================

* **OS:** Windows 7 (64-bit)
* **CPU:** Quad Core CPU
* **RAM:** 4 GB
* **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or similar (Dedicated GPU required)
* **Storage:** 4 GB available space

Recommended Specifications
==========================

* **OS:** Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
* **CPU:** Intel Core i7 or equivalent
* **RAM:** 16 GB
* **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series (for best ray tracing performance)

   Integrated graphics cards (Intel HD/UHD/Iris) are **not supported** and will likely result in unplayable framerates or crashes. See our :doc:`/devices/teardown-download-laptop` guide for more details on portable performance.
